So, I just had a huge accident. I messed up. Sadly we can easily undermine the importance of being honest with our frailty and mistakes.

The important thing when we do mess up is to acknowledge and then focus energy and attention to the clean up.

Making things right is more important than leveling blame. Cleaning up the mess is more important than making excuses.

Looking ahead is of more value than celebrating failure in the form of self-pity and moping

Progress, and the world, will be inherited by those with a lean toward solutions. Not those who wallow in their mess and self-pity.

Own it and clean it up
