I’ve written tens, even hundreds of thousands of words with the intention of publishing them. While I’ve published some, some of the words got no eyeballs besides mine. That blog unpublished blog post. They rest in a graveyard on my computer. Some of them I deleted. Where do deleted words actually go? Weird thought, right? But why does the blog post I didn’t publish exist?
In both life and leadership, the picture or dream we have for our lives and enterprise is grand. I’m yet to meet an honest person who says they want little or nothing out of life. If we all dreamt untethered by disillusionment, failure, and life’s other realities, something grand would emerge. In their purest, our dreams are big. The haunting, perhaps even taunting question, is “how to live your big dreams everyday?”
If you’ve read anything I’ve written it is possible you’ve seen one way or another I could be better as writer. I’m aware I’m not the best writer there is or was. I’m also not among the best of communicators.
Start of a new day. Sunrise, a mini “reset”. Hello day; time to own you. The day is already made, then we get to make the day. Not just what’s in it but what we also put in it. Not just what it does to us but we do to the day.
