One of the things I’ve always tried to do better every year is reading more. This includes both books and blogs. I’m a big fan of blogs. I also love books. There are more books in the world than I have time for. That’s why reading great ones is important. I hate wasting time and money on books. This means I have to read great ones. While thinking about this, I had to ask:
I’ve just been watching the Cricket test match between South Africa and England. South African seem on the back foot at the moment. (Am writing this with one eye on the game; the era of many screens…) South Africa is struggling with their game.
“Hello from the other side” is a string of words I thought I’d feature on my blog. In particular, in context of Adele. I’m not a fan Adele’s sad songs. She’s a great singer. I’ll be the first to buy a happy song from her; let me know if that happens.
So, I’m not a fan of Adele’s blues but I am a Star Wars one. I’d never heard of Alex Boyé, until he took the work of an artist I don’t like and a film series I like, and mashed it. So, I just got introduced to Alex Boyé…
I haven’t written as much as I would’ve loved over the last few years. I’ve shared some of the reasons I write are here, here and here. Those are not all the reasons, just some. Writing is one of the things I’ve had a desire and, I guess, a fair aptitude for, for as long as I can remember. This is a blog post about an important blog I wrote.
Inspiring others to see their dreams through me…
Misty Copeland is now the principal ballerina at The American Ballet Theatre. Being a professional ballerina is an achievement many hope for but few achieve. This is because it is not easy. I don’t know a lot about ballet but I appreciate the art. Besides talent, it takes hard work and a lot of beating of one’s body.
